Blogger's Quilt Festival

I just found out about the Bloger's Quilt Festival on Facebook and was excited to see that I could still enter my mini quilt in the contest.  This cute quilt was inspired by the many mermaids that I have been making and thought it would be a great idea to make a mermaid into a quilt.  It has both hand stitching and machine quilting.  Thank you for visiting my blog and thank you for hosting the festival Amy!!

New Projects

This year I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. There are a lot of talented designers out there and I found a couple that I really like for my new adventures.
Swoon Patterns is one of my favorites, her designs are elegant and beautiful, I tried a free pattern from her website and been eyeing a lot more but need to get all my things in order before I can try the bigger ones.
Blue Calla Creations is another great one and I have actually worked on one pattern more than once.  I have actually gotten two orders that I hope to complete tomorrow and send them on their way.

This is the Clematis Wristlet, it is super cute and it has tons of possibilities for my few next wristlets.
