The horse is in a testing period right now, I am trying to see how long it takes before it breaks apart, not that it is not good quality but I want to make sure it will last for a while. Plus she has 3 older brothers and they all love that horse too. I have seen them throw it, smack each other with it and gladly the horse is still smiling and his eyes are on. The reigns came off but they were not sewn onto the horse so I will have to come up with a different method to attache them and make them stay.
His hair is made out of yarn and it looks fantastic thanks to my very smart 9 year old. He was really helpful while working on this project as I only had 2 hours from start to finish while the little one took a nap.
I love the expression on his face, he looks so happy. I wanted the horse to have eyelashes because that is one of the things I love about horses, their beautiful and expressive big eyes. It gives the horse character.
Here is a better look at his hair.
The hair int he front is a little longer that the one in the back, so stylish. What do you think?
